BUENA PARK, Calif. -

Last Friday, SoCal Penske added another nameplate to its stable of franchise dealerships, unveiling Penske Chevrolet of Buena Park.

The new dealership is located in the Buena Park Auto Center in Buena Park, Calif.

SoCal Penske explained it was awarded the Chevrolet franchise to fill an open market for Chevrolet in Buena Park. Executives emphasized they’re pleased to add another Chevrolet dealership to their growing footprint of stores in southern California.

Opening last Friday, the company said Penske Chevrolet of Buena Park will operate in the heart of Orange County. Executives hope Penske Chevrolet of Buena Park will complement the group’s existing dealership footprint of 10 locations in the region.

With this addition, SoCal Penske now operates out of 11 locations representing 19 franchises in southern California which include Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Scion, smart, Sprinter and Toyota brands as well as three Penske Collision repair centers.

In addition to its franchises, SoCal Penske mentioned that it’s also active in the medium duty truck, recreational vehicle and heavy duty automatic transmission business and operates franchises for Workhorse Custom RV Chassis, Allison Transmissions and UD Trucks.
