As of press time Tuesday, a few brands were already reporting certified pre-owned sales results from November, and several were quite strong.

Here is a rundown:

Hyundai moved 6,118 certified vehicles for the month, up 5.7 percent from November 2012.  Year-to-date sales are at 69,907 units, a 9.6-percent hike.

Kia sold 3,094 CPO units in November, for a 54.6-percent year-over-year increase. It has moved 31,479 certified vehicles through 11 months of 2013, which is 74.4 percent ahead of year-ago figures.

Audi sold 3,612 certified vehicles for the month, compared to 2,845 in November 2012.  Through November, it has moved 36,168 CPO units, against 33,148 sold in the year-ago time frame.

Volkswagen’s 7,139 CPO sales in November marked an improvement of just over 5 percent. Its 86,824 CPO sales through 11 months represent a 10.26-percent hike.

Porsche said its Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales came in at 993 last month, and its yearly sum is at 9,125 units.

Mercedes-Benz certified pre-owned notched 8,847 sales for the month (up 24 percent) and 89,349 sales through 11 months (up 22 percent).

In its sales release, BMW reported sales of used vehicles (which include CPO and non-CPO used), noting it moved 15,838 of these units for a 25.1-percent hike. Through 11 months, it has sold 163,476 used cars for a 10.6- percent hike.

Likewise, MINI’s used sales (which include MINI NEXT certified pre-owned and pre-owned) came in at 1,936 units for November (up 46.8 percent) and year-to-date volume is up 21.3 percent with 20,079 sales.
