Carbiz to Host Dealer Conference
SARASOTA, Fla. — Carbiz is slated to host its 2007 professional development conference for dealers at the Grosvenor Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., this Oct. 28 to 31.
Company officials invited dealers from throughout the country to participate in the event, saying it will include seminars and interactive workshops on industry issues. Topics for the conference include regulatory compliance, bankruptcy laws, collections, repossessions, human resources, tax issues for dealerships and more.
The event will kick off Oct. 28 with a seminar exclusively for Carbiz's Dealer Controlled Financing consulting clients. The DCF seminar will analyze the pooled portfolios of the DCF dealers and detail the latest trends, executives explained.
Carbiz plans to host a welcome reception for all attendees after the DCF seminar.
General seminars will get started Oct. 29. Offering network opportunities, the company said it will host cocktails and dinner by the resort pool. Workshops will pick back up again Oct. 30 and conclude at 5 p.m.
Moreover, executives said that on Oct. 31, Carbiz will provide an additional day focused on the company's advanced software, including Management System Plus and Independent Dealer Accounting software programs. These training sessions are designed to teach Carbiz software customers how the get the most out of the programs.
The cost for the event is $345 through Aug. 15, and $395 after that date, according to officials. There is no fee for Carbiz consulting customers, according to the company. Special room rates are available at the Grosvenor Resort.
