USA Computer Systems Takes BHPH/Subprime DMS System to the Web
TRENTON, Maine — USA Computer Systems' chief operating officer recently announced that in addition to accepting reservation dates for its early fall installation process, his company's DMS, The Answer, is going Web-based.
Basically the company is moving from its current Microsoft Accounting server-based platform to a Microsoft Accounting Web-based product.
Richard Chilgreen, partner and general manager of USACS, said, "Our current dealer network will be converted to Web based by Aug. 31, 2008. Then our future Web-based client installs will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
The Linnehan family said it made corporate decision to turn to the Internet as the delivery methodology of choice to simplify the process for its own companies and dealer clients.
Linnehan's Atlantic Acceptance Finance Corp. and Credit Now! Auto Sales, Maine's No. 1 volume, privately owned used-car finance and sales companies, will be utilizing this new Web-based technology by August 31, along with some of its dealer clients, according to company officials.
The company group went searching for a system to support its businesses in the mid 1990s. After discovering that one wasn't available, which led to officials cobbling together various aspects of different systems to run their business, they decided to create their own system, The Answer.
Linnehan said, "Our USA Computer Systems Web-based DMS conversion is a key component in our current ability to safely grow our business profitably. It also plays a major part in our exciting corporate expansion plans that have recently been released publicly by the Linnehan family.
"We are prepared to install and service you and your businesses with the best buy-here, pay-here/subprime dealer management system that money can buy," he concluded.
