FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — RouteOne unveiled today a pilot version of an electronic-document storage and retention solution for dealers that is fully automated and integrated within RouteOne's credit-application management system, as well as the company's other compliance-support offerings, including credit bureaus, IDOne (RouteOne's ID Verification and Authentication tool), and Adverse Action Manager.

Basically, RouteOne SecureDocOne can be accessed directly through the RouteOne platform, allowing dealers to automate and manage the storage of electronic credit documents originated on RouteOne in a secure and efficient fashion.

The solution, which powered by Web-based document management service provider WorldView, will be available to all subscribing dealers later in the second quarter. Pre-enrollment is available immediately.

"RouteOne SecureDocOne is a great addition to our existing suite of compliance tools, all designed to improve efficiency and assist our dealer customers in meeting their compliance requirements," noted RouteOne's chief executive officer Mike Jurecki.

"This new product will allow dealers to automate the storage of important credit documents originated within RouteOne, and to easily manage and retrieve them from within our platform," he continued. "We encourage dealers to utilize RouteOne SecureDocOne to protect and secure the valuable personal consumer data collected within their dealership during the credit process."

Tom Hassenstab, CEO of WorldView, added: "Simple storage and retrieval of credit documents is not only a benefit, it is really a necessity. Document storage is automated, and these documents can be retrieved right from RouteOne, so there is no new software to learn and users don't have to log in to or manage another platform.

"Their documents are secure and easily accessible, enabling new efficiencies and client information security," he stated.

According to officials, no long-term contracts or commitments are required.
