DAYTON, Ohio — Reynolds and Reynolds recently congratulated Tom Hudson, of Hudson Cook, on receiving the prestigious Senator William Proxmire Lifetime Achievement Award from the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers this spring.

The college presents the award periodically to those who have made significant contributions in the field of consumer financial services.

Hudson is a longtime legal expert who has worked with Reynolds document solutions business. Officials said he's been instrumental in helping Reynolds establish the LAW Universal Retail Installment Sale Contract.

"We're pleased to see Tom recognized for his many outstanding achievements in consumer and automotive financial services law," said Jerry Kirwan, senior vice president of Integrated Document Solutions at Reynolds.

"Tom's legal expertise and the support of his law firm have been important factors in helping Reynolds demonstrate the value of LAW contracts to automotive retailers and financial institutions across the U.S.," he added.

Hudson is one of the founding partners of the law firm Hudson Cook, a nationwide provider of legal compliance services for the financial industry. Hudson Cook regularly reviews Reynolds' LAW contracts to keep pace with new legislative and regulatory requirements.

He also created the monthly legal reporting services "CARLAW" and "HouseLaw" and has authored and edited three books on the topic of auto sales finance and leasing.
