FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Infiniti announced this week that it is now it is running special leasing and financing terms through Aug. 31.

The automaker is offering zero percent financing on select 2009 models. Additionally, special lease rates are also available. For example, a lease on the 2009 Infiniti EX Journey, with the Around View Monitor package, Bose and Navigation package can run at about $399 per month.

The promotion, called the Limited Engagement Summer Event, will basically be available on the company's complete lineup of 2009 Infiniti performance luxury vehicles, excluding the new Infiniti G37 Convertible, which recently went on sale June 18.

"Summer is the season made for driving, and what better way to make that trip to the beach, mountains or desert than in a brand new Infiniti?" said Ben Moore, vice president of the Infiniti Business Unit.

"Of course, summer always seems to pass too quickly, just like these special offers will, so we're making a push to let people know that now's a great time to act," he said.

According to the company, the advertising campaign for the summer event is designed to cut through normal advertising clutter with "elegant photography and graphics and a unique media plan." Media buys on television will consist of two 15-second spots to run back-to-back, or in some cases split within a commercial pod, and will pair a product-specific ad with a summer sales event spot.

Infiniti plans to include digital events in the ad campaign such as a "home page takeover" scheduled for July 28 on MSN.com as well as one on CNN.com.  The company also plans to do targeted mobile messaging over the weekend, which are aimed at in-market luxury car shoppers.

"The idea with our summer sales event media plan is to stand apart from the normal 30-second car ads, using broadcast to create a national awareness with the 15/15-second blocks, while also driving in-market shoppers with compelling digital messaging," said Moore.
