CHICAGO — The less time a car buyer has to spend in a dealer's finance or service office, the more likely the person is to be a repeat customer.

That's the goal behind The Impact Group's selection of the SCS Auto administration platform from F&I Administration Solutions.

"It is industry knowledge that the less time customers spend in the F&I office, the more likely they are to buy additional products," said David Trinder, chief executive officer of the software provider.

"The integration of our products significantly reduces the time it takes to present the menu, and therefore increases the likelihood of making a sale," he added.

For dealers who work within Impact's Fusion menu, the new connectivity can help them achieve accurate, real-time rates for service contracts and other products that are managed within its SCS Auto system, according to the company.

"For our discerning clients, easy access and accuracy are expected in every component of our system," stated Mark Thorpe, president of The Impact Group.

"Having the ability to interface with F&I Administration Solution's SCS Auto eRating service enables us to meet those expectations in exciting new ways, and for a much larger audience," he explained.

Working with OEM's, third-party administrators and general agents, The Impact Group's automotive software is designed to service the finance and insurance industry. The partnership's purpose is to gain efficiencies in the administration of those services through F&I's Web-based platform.

"The integration with the Fusion menu is part of our ongoing commitment to provide electronic connectivity to other systems for the benefit of our provider customers and their dealers," Trinder continued. "More announcements will follow shortly as we continue to deliver to this strategy."
