HANOVER, Md. — The National Automotive Finance Association announced the keynote speaker and presenters this week who are slated to take center stage during the 14th annual Below-Prime Credit Auto Financing Conference.

Serving in the keynote role for the event that's scheduled for June 2 to 4 at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, will be Dan Berce, chief executive officer of AmeriCredit.

The NAF Association also highlighted that other event presenters include representatives from Standard & Poor's, J.D. Power and Associates, the National Automobile Dealers Association and Manheim.

Panel discussion will focus on below-prime dealer trends, in addition to legal and regulatory issues as well as the GPS tracking and starter interrupt devices on portfolio performance. Also a presentation by a special agent of the FBI on automotive fraud schemes in the new decade will be a part of the conference.

The event will begin with a workshop on how the asset-backed securities market works as well as a round of golf.
