WASHINGTON, D.C. — The American Financial Services Association launched a revamped Web site this week, that in addition to a new look, also includes a number of new features.

"I'd like to point out some of the most useful features. The site's search function has been enhanced by implementing a Google search. You'll also be able to find related information to content you view on the left-hand side of many pages," explained Chris Stinebert, AFSA president and chief executive officer.

He also indicated, "From anywhere on the site, you can access a drop-down menu of key industry issues that provides a synopsis of credit card, mortgage, personal loan, vehicle finance, CFPA or industrial bank information.

The site also now includes:

—Newsroom for members of the media.

—Exhibiting & Sponsorship Opportunities.

—Financial Services Litigation case summaries (members only).

—Staff bios.

—Overview pages for each tabbed section.

—Comment letter and testimony pages for federal and state government affairs that make this information easier to find.

"Information that you find on the site can also easily be shared with others via a ‘share' tab that allows users to e-mail, bookmark or share a page on social media sites. On a related note, AFSA has a presence on Twitter. You can follow the association at www.twitter.com/AFSA_DC," Stinebert said.
