HOUSTON — The National Alliance of Buy-Here, Pay-Here Dealers recently announced a revamped format and new location for its fourth annual Underwriting and Collections Conference.

This year's three-day event will offer separate educational tracks for collections and underwriting. It's scheduled for Nov.7-9, this time in Dallas instead of Las Vegas.

Ken Shilson, CPA and founder of NABD, expects more than 500 attendees to gather at the Hyatt Regency DFW, located in Terminal C of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

"This show will feature many of the nation's most successful operators who will share their experience, knowledge and best practices," Shilson explained

"We are excited to announce that this year's NABD Underwriting and Collections Conference will be held in a completely new venue that has enabled us to expand our exhibit hall and have separate additional tracks for underwriting and collections," he continued.

Shilson emphasized the location was chosen to facilitate travel by all participants.

"NABD has negotiated very favorable $119 per night room rates while supplies last, and no ground transportation will be needed by attendees," he pointed out.

"We also have some of the nation's leading attorneys and experts speaking, and the information attendees will receive will be invaluable, particularly in the new regulatory environment," Shilson went on to say.

Beyond what Shilson already mentioned, the conference is scheduled to share the latest benchmark information, including an updated study on payment devices. NABD also noted role playing will be used to illustrate successful collection techniques and practices, making all sessions interactive.

"Our keynote speaker is a Wall Street investment broker who will share insights on raising capital," Shilson indicated.

NABD also noted the exhibit hall, luncheons and receptions are organized to maximize networking between attendees and exhibitors. A detailed agenda of the event can be found here.
