IRVING, Texas — Exeter Finance Corp. announced this week that it has appointed an industry veteran to serve as its executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Taking on this position is Elizabeth Webb.

She will oversee new business development, brand management, product development, and sales and marketing strategies.

"Exeter is focused on growth as today's marketplace conditions present an optimal landscape for expansion," explained Mark Floyd, Exeter's chief executive officer. "Elizabeth is a proven executive who brings extensive experience in business development, relationship management and successful execution of new products, programs and marketing initiatives. We are pleased to have her join our team."

Web has more than three decades of auto finance experience, including 17 years in the non-prime sector. She most recently served as senior vice president of business development and marketing at AmeriCredit. At this company, she development and management successful business relationships with banks, captives, major dealer groups and manufacturers, officials noted.

"I have the highest regard for the Exeter management team and the solid business model they have established," Webb said. "I'm thrilled to be working with Exeter to capitalize on opportunities in the market."

The lender reached $160 million in total originations in December and recently closed on a $150 million warehouse facility with Wells Fargo Bank N.A.
