SAUSALITO, Calif. — ChannelNet, a company that provides secure personal microsite solutions in the auto financing industry, revealed recently that it has rolled out more than 8 million sites incorporating its personalization and targeting capabilities.

The debut personal microsite from ChannelNet — which was for BMW Financial Services — was rolled out in 2005.

In August 2009, ChannelNet celebrated its 5 millionth microsite.

Financial companies that have employed ChannelNet's services include World Omni Financial Services, Volkswagen Credit, Hyundai Capital of America, Chrysler Financial Services and Ford Credit.

"The age-old challenge in auto marketing is how to cost effectively deliver information that is relevant and personalized to vehicle owners as they near the end of their retail contract or lease," stated Paula Tompkins, the chief executive officer and founder of ChannelNet.

"Our unique secure personal microsite solution has delivered remarkable results for our clients by generating highly qualified new vehicle buyers for their dealers. Instead of just providing the standard self-service account information after the customer logs on, our auto financing clients deliver relevant messages and special offers that are unique and meaningful for the customer," she continued.

"Using ChannelNet's Personal Microsite solution automotive marketers can literally target a few borrowers, or all of their customers, and just about every possible combination in between," Tompkins added. "Not only are they delivering valuable messages and offers at no variable delivery cost, but the online system is managed without involving IT staff."
