MINNEAPOLIS — Wolters Kluwer Financial Services said Wednesday that its relationship with RouteOne has been broadened, meaning that Wolters Kluwer's AppOne platform can now help independent dealers access a broader spectrum of lenders.

As most likely know, AppOne is designed to provide automated processes with regards to indirect lending, credit approval, documentation compliance and risk mitigation for independent dealers and the respective lenders with which they work.

RouteOne offers franchised auto dealers and lenders an online credit application management system.

Per the expanded relationship between Wolters Kluwer and RouteOne, independent dealers who employ AppOne will now be able to use the RouteOne platform to connect with their respective store's subscribed lenders.

AppOne provides a way for dealers to use just one system to send loan applications to lenders electronically and then print the complete, plain-paper, electronic deal jacket.

Dealers using AppOne previously were limited to only sending loan application to lenders using AppOne's risk mitigation services suite.

"We are continually looking for new ways to improve our product offering to our network of more than 3,000 independent auto dealers, and RouteOne helps support this effort," stated Lee Domingue, who is Wolters Kluwer's chief executive officer of indirect lending.

"This new integration provides dealers with a one-stop-shop solution that enables them to use the AppOne platform to do business with all of their lending partners, while simplifying compliance and loan documentation challenges," Domingue added.

AppOne implements Wolters Kluwer's Bankers Systems retail installment contracts and ancillary document to craft electronically formatted auto packages at the point of sale. The company's compliance experts maintain the contracts. These experts keep track of legislative and regulatory changes that could affect the indirect finance industry throughout all jurisdictions across the country.

Wolters Kluwer's limited compliance warranty safeguards the contracts.

"Lenders using the RouteOne platform can feel secure in knowing that AppOne dealers have gone through a comprehensive underwriting and vetting process, and have access to electronic loan documentation and compliance tools that help them meet industry regulations and lender requirements," said Mike Jurecki, the CEO of RouteOne.

"This helps provide an added layer of protection and peace of mind to lenders wanting to do business with independent auto dealers," he concluded.
