PHILADELPHIA — VINtek announced that its consumer auto finance Web portal is now compatible with the Apple iPhone and iPad.

The company's TitleMyCar website can enable dealers to cut down on processing time and costs by electronically delivering documents to borrowers for review.

The portal presents auto loan agreements, supporting documents and DMV forms, which can reduce time spent visiting lending institutions, as well as the DMV.

The mobile version of the site allows a potential borrower to see a car for sale, apply for the loan via a mobile device and potentially have a decision within seconds, VINtek noted.

Documents are delivered instantly via the Web, and the borrower can immediately start negotiating with the seller.

“As borrowers continue to rely on their Web-enabled devices, financial institutions must keep up with the demand for services that take advantage of this technology,” said Larry Highbloom, president of VINtek.

“For automotive lending, enabling the completion of loan documents through these devices gives lenders a significant edge over competitors by providing borrowers with fast and secure financing. In tandem with VINtek’s D2C (direct-to-consumer) lending platform, borrowers never need to visit a physical branch or the DMV when applying for an auto loan,” he added.

By adapting the TitleMyCar site for use with iPhones and iPads, financial institutions can expand their direct-to-consumer lending programs and provide borrowers with the ability to fulfill document requirements at their convenience and on-the-go, the company stressed.
