HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — CU Xpress Lease recently signed its first provider in Massachusetts to offer a vehicle lease program first launched back in 2007.
CU Xpress Lease's first enrollee in the Bay State is IC Federal Credit Union in Fitchburg, Mass.
Founded in 1928 as the Immaculate Conception Credit Union, officials highlighted IC FCU has more than $500 million in assets serving more than 22,000 members from seven locations in the greater Worcester/Boston area.
CU Xpress Lease senior vice president Frank Rinaudo commented on working with one of the largest credit unions in Massachusetts.
"We are quite excited to expand the CU Xpress lease program into the New England region, which is a leasing marketing that reaches high penetration levels," Rinaudo added.
CU Xpress pointed out that it offers flexible terms — 36 to 60 months on a new vehicles. The company also has customized mileage allowances, lease-end options, GAP insurance covering damages exceeding the user's insurance policy (up to the lease value), as well as a "no surprises" wear and tear policy, which includes a mechanical breakdown warranty (sold in conjunction with a new-vehicle lease).
