CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill.  — Striving to make it easier for dealers to more efficiently and quickly close deals, Automotive Compliance Consultants revealed Monday that it will now enable dealers to access three major credit bureaus, as well as all credit-related documents from one website.

With its new credit bureau reporting service, the company contends it has eliminated “the mark-up dealers typically pay for bureau reports.”

From the company’s Web dashboard, dealers can download credit reports from Experian, TransUnion and Equifax.

Moreover, the new website also gives dealers access to other credit-related documents, such as the new FTC Model Privacy Notice, Risk-Based Pricing and Adverse Action notices.

“Most other credit report providers charge for these ancillary but critically important documents,” the company stressed.

The company also explained that having access to all these documents might help speed up the F&I process, as well as ensure that deals are “compliant to all pertaining consumer and consumer finance laws.”

In other company news, ACC has also recently added a new warranty compliance service to its offerings in an effort to “help auto retailers ensure proper OEM warranty payments and avoid charges due to warranty claim oversights.”

Commenting on the news, Terry Dortch, president of ACC, said, “Warranty compliance is designed to make sure dealerships receive every dollar due them from OEMs for the warranty work they perform — and avoid being charged for otherwise incorrect or incomplete warranty claims and paperwork they file with OEM.”

“We realized this area of opportunity was a need now fully addressed in the marketplace,” Dortch added.

Chosen to lead this new division is Ed Gibbons, who brings to the company experience in dealership warranty administration and auditing, as well as general service operations.

The new hire has spent 20 years in dealerships and with 13 manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Ranger Rover, General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Isuzu and Subaru.

His prior positions include service adviser for a Mercedes Benz and BMW dealership. He later became service manager for the BMW store and eventually became a service director, overseeing seven car lines, a body shop and parts department.

He most recently operated an independent repair facility.
