RICHMOND, Va. — Buy-here, pay-here dealership group J.D. Byrider recently revealed credit-challenged residents of Virginia’s capital now have another option for purchasing used cars.

The company announced a new Richmond rooftop opened on the first of the month, located at 7400 Midlothian Turnpike.

The 10,000 square-foot store — the company’s fifth in Virginia — offers used car sales, financing, a service department and a customer service center, officials noted.

The company also explained this location is the first for Craig Baker, one of the newest franchisees to join J.D. Byrider.

“J.D. Byrider is the leader in dealer-financed, used-car sales, and our store will continue this success by offering a standard 24-month/24,000-mile warranty, affordable payments and exceptional customer service,” said Baker.

“I am excited for the opportunity to provide good, reliable cars for Richmond residents with less-than-perfect credit. This is the first of several I plan to open in the Richmond market,” he continued.

After opening 11 stores this past year, J.D. Byrider now has 134 locations in 30 states with additional new stores planned for 2012, according to officials.
