HOUSTON — Ken Shilson, the president of the National
Alliance of Buy-Here, Pay-Here Dealers, wants both new and experienced
operators to be able to do at least one thing very well, no matter if they sell
one vehicle a month or 1,000.

The concept of decision making is the theme for NABD's next East
Coast BHPH Conference, which runs from Nov 3-5. The conference will be held at
the New Orleans Marriott Superdome Hotel, which was the host site for Super Bowl
back in February and is one of the most modern facilities in New Orleans.

This year's agenda is focused on making the right decisions to
succeed in BHPH today, and the conference theme is appropriately entitled,
"Critical Decisions that Bring Success."

Highlights include a legal and regulatory update,
interactive sessions with capital providers, two workshops conducted by Manheim
covering inventory acquisition and reconditioning, and an exhibit hall with all
the latest products and services to increase efficiency and profitability.

"New developments in the industry are happening at an
unprecedented pace, and this conference will focus on how attendees can
capitalize on the profit opportunities," Shilson said.

"New operators are entering the BHPH industry in significant
numbers," he continued. "These new operators need to understand how to succeed
by avoiding the pitfalls. Trial and error mistakes will cost them millions of
dollars."

The general sessions begin on Nov. 3 with concurrent
workshops. A total of 12 workshops will feature leading experts and operators
and cover topics including

—A legal and regulatory Q&A
—Capital
—Leasing update
—New technology
—Payment devices
—Alternative repayment strategies
—Add-on products
—Acquiring and reconditioning the best vehicles
—Maximizing recoveries
—Internet best practices
—Advanced skip-tracing and much more

"These sessions will not be infomercials and will include
new information which will help operators face all the challenges more
successfully," Shilson said. "The concurrent workshops are designed to benefit
both new and experienced operators and all sessions will be interactive."

The concurrent sessions continue on Nov. 4.

"These workshops are not repeated so dealers are encouraged
to bring multiple attendees so they can attend all of the educational
sessions." Shilson said.

Later on Nov. 4, the single-track education sessions include
an induction ceremony in the BHPH Hall of Fame. Other general sessions feature
an emphasis on underwriting and collection best practices, best operating
practices by successful operators, new benchmark and trend information, a
market update on vehicles and an open forum discussion with all attendees.

Speakers and presenters include attorneys Tom Hudson, Patty
Covington and Mark Edelman, and other nationally recognized experts including
Manheim chief economist Tom Webb.

Approximately 100 sponsors are expected in an exhibit hall,
which features a sports lounge for Sunday and Monday Night Football, two
receptions, a breakfast and a luncheon.

The exhibit hall has been designed to facilitate networking
between dealers, experts, and product and service providers. Those interested
in exhibiting should call Keith Shilson at (832) 767-4759.

The entire program is co-sponsored by several independent
automobile dealers associations (including Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana,
Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and others).

Last year, more than 800 attendees from around the U.S. and
Canada participated in this event. All education sessions conclude at 1 p.m. on
Nov. 5 to facilitate return travel by attendees.

The Hyatt Regency New Orleans is offering NABD attendees
discounted room rates as low as $169 per night while supplies last. Shilson
indicated availability is limited so he encouraged attendees and exhibitors to
reserve their rooms as soon as possible.

Reservations can be made online at the NABD web site at
www.bhphinfo.com or by calling (832) 767-4759. Significant registration
discounts are available on or before Oct. 4.
