LOS ANGELES — Loeb & Loeb in association with
Consolidated Asset Recovery Systems (CARS) is offering a complimentary
60-minute webinar focused on compliance with Consumer Financial Protection
Bureau mandates.

The session titled, "Road Map to CFPB Compliance for the
Auto Finance Industry," is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sept. 10. The presenter will be
Loeb & Loeb's Michael Thurman, a partner in the firm's consumer protection
defense department and member of its CFPB task force.

"The CFPB has been very active in the short time since its
creation and has continued to expand its reach, most recently with new guidance
for auto lenders relating to dealer incentives and loan term pricing
discretion," Thurman said.

"Understanding how the CFPB works together with other
regulators, including the Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Trade Commission
(FTC) and state regulators, is essential for auto finance companies to prepare
for increased scrutiny and implement proactive strategies to avoid
investigations and penalties," he continued.

Thurman highlighted the webinar program will feature a wide
array of topics, including:

—Current agency guidelines on avoiding liability for
discriminatory loans originated by dealers

—Tips on preparing for regulatory scrutiny

—Practical advice for building compliance into each phase of
the auto lending process.

Finance company executives can register for the webinar
