CARMEL, Ind. -

Byrider already has more than 140 buy-here, pay-here locations across the country.

And the company recently added a new executive who is tasked with growing that store footprint even more.

Byrider hired Michael Davis to reinforce its franchise development team in the role of franchise development manager.

“We are excited to welcome Mike Davis to the Byrider team. Mike’s experience in franchising will propel Byrider dealership growth across the country,” Byrider vice president of development Jack Humbert said in a news release.

“Mike will be especially valuable as we continue attracting franchisee prospects interested in our new simpler franchising model, Byrider Direct, which focuses exclusively on vehicle sales and service,” Humbert continued.

Byrider highlighted Davis is a long-time franchise development professional, spending considerable time as a leader in Circle K’s nationwide franchise growth for four years, as well as tenures in development with Minuteman Press International, ERA/Realogy and Eye Level Learning.

“I am eager to make an immediate impact in helping to attract forward-thinking franchise owners who are committed to helping an underserved client base,” Davis said.

“Byrider’s mission, offering its customers an opportunity based on factors beyond their credit score, is a slam-dunk business opportunity for prospective franchisees interested in succeeding financially and in helping their future customers move forward with their lives,” he added.
