Compliance Unleashed to merge with BHPH United Summit in 2025
Two major events designed to help buy-here, pay-here dealers and other parts of the automotive space are coming together next year.
Organizers announced on Monday that Compliance Unleashed — a compliance-centric conference for automobile dealers and finance companies — will join the annual BHPH United Summit in 2025.
They said attendees will now have access to two conventions for the price of one in an “unprecedented” opportunity to elevate dealerships’ compliance knowledge and business strategy in one comprehensive event.
Founded by Ignite Consulting Partners, Compliance Unleashed has provided its attendees with valuable insights into the compliance risks and regulatory requirements dealerships face every day.
As Compliance Unleashed enters its seventh year, Steve Levine, an auto finance lawyer with more than 30 years of experience protecting car dealers and finance companies and an owner and chief legal and compliance officer of Ignite Consulting Partners, said the time was right to team up with the BHPH United Summit.
“Understanding compliance and managing risk are integral to a dealership’s success,” Levine said. “For six years, we have delivered that message to a committed group of attendees. Now, by joining forces with the BHPH United Summit, we will be able to reach a far broader and more diverse audience.”
More than 400 attendees made up of BHPH dealers from across the country attended this year’s BHPH United Summit for three days of dealer-to-dealer education, training and networking. With Compliance Unleashed now a part of the footprint, organizers that number is expected to grow.
“This year’s BHPH United Summit was the best yet,” said Mike Downey, president of Auto Master Systems, one of the partners of BHPH United along with Big Time Advertising, Buckeye Dealership Consulting, Ignite Consulting Partners, Ituran USA, PrimaLend Capital and Tax Max.
“We had record attendance in terms of total attendees as well as first-time attendees. Adding Compliance Unleashed into the agenda will provide even more educational opportunities for the dealer community,” added Downey, who also is among the executives set to appear during Used Car Week, which is set for Nov. 18-21 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Planning is already underway for the BHPH United Summit and Compliance Unleased, which will be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas April 22-24.
Attendees can register to attend both the BHPH United Summit and Compliance Unleashed for $599 for the first attendee from a dealership and $299 for each additional attendee.
Specific details about the educational sessions will be posted as the agenda is finalized.
