Two award-winning service providers that offer location tracking services and vehicle monitoring for dealerships and finance companies now are working together.

This week, TrueSpot and PassTime announced a strategic partnership aimed at revolutionizing asset management and location tracking for the automotive industry.

According to a news release, this collaboration brings together TrueSpot’s multi-patented  AQFind Location Platform as a Service (LPaaS) with PassTime’s InTouch VP, a battery-powered asset tracking and theft recovery solution.

By integrating TrueSpot’s RTLS (real-time location system) capabilities with PassTime’s GPS-powered asset tracking solutions, the providers said dealerships and finance companies will experience enhanced asset visibility and protection both on and off the lot, streamlined operations, increased PVR, and improved customer service.

“Joining forces with PassTime marks an exciting advancement in our mission to deliver superior location services and location intelligence which drive incredible operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction,” TrueSpot Founder and CEO Mike Hanna said in a news release.

“This partnership allows us to expand our reach and deepen the value we bring to automotive dealerships, combining the precision of on campus RTLS with the power of GPS tracking to create a best-in-class solution for tracking assets, vehicles, and keys,” Hanna continued.

Ryan Schwarz, vice president of PassTime’s InTouch division, added, “This partnership with TrueSpot is going to be one of the most complete location technology programs and revolutionary for dealerships across the industry. TrueSpot’s ability to track assets, vehicles, and keys is one of the best automotive inventory management solutions available on the market.

“By integrating with PassTime’s InTouch VP, dealers will have unmatched inventory visibility and theft protection with the added benefit of increasing PVR by selling InTouch VP to vehicle buyers,” Schwarz went on to say.
