Holand Automotive Group is headed for Europe — with forza.

The Montreal-based luxury dealership group has acquired Forza Rossa, Romania’s only Ferrari dealership, located in that nation’s capital of Bucharest.

The acquisition is the first venture into the European market for Holand, which also operates 10 locations in Quebec and four in the U.S., representing Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, McLaren, BMW, MINI, Maserati and Lotus.

Holand also owns the Circuit Mont-Tremblant racetrack, some 90 miles northwest of Montreal.

In a news release, Holand president and CEO Gad Bitton said he’s ready to “elevate the customer journey” at the new Romanian store, which will be renamed Ferrari of Bucharest, and noted Romania “presents immense potential” for a luxury car dealership.

“Romania is a hidden gem,” Holand president and CEO Gad Bitton said. “Its proximity to key European markets and growing wealth make it ideal for luxury automotive growth, with strategic access to neighboring regions.”
