PassTime & PayNearMe enhance partnership with integrated text payments

PassTime and PayNearMe announced this week that they have expanded their integration, resulting in their mutual auto-finance customers now being able to incorporate text payment options for consumers.
PassTime and PayNearMe have provided integrated solutions in payment processing and asset tracking since 2020. Building upon that partnership, the company said these enhancements will better serve the companies’ mutual customers and consumers, focusing on text message communication and payment options to customers utilizing PassTime asset tracking and automated collection technologies.
The upgraded integration between PassTime and PayNearMe leverages a middleware solution developed by CMOR Solutions that offers flexible customization to the auto dealership or finance company by providing PayNearMe’s Smart Link to consumers, along with PassTime device commands and payment reminders.
For example, if a consumer’s vehicle has been disabled due to non-payment, the integrated solution can send a text message notification in real time to the consumer with a payment link.
Once a payment is made, the vehicle can be re-enabled, offering a quick and seamless process for consumers.
