Another former Manheim Canada exec joins Otolane
Otolane reinforced its team this week with another industry professional who previously worked for Manheim Canada.
The latest veteran to join the online wholesale automotive marketplace solution is Gerry Johnson, who will serve as Otolane’s vice president of sales.
Otolane highlighted Johnson brings more than 25 years of experience in automotive remarketing and wholesale business experience to the role.
As vice president of sales, Johnson will be responsible for both commercial and dealer sales.
For the past eight years, Johnson served as assistant general manager at Manheim Toronto. Additionally, since 2015, Johnson held the position as associate director for national commercial accounts.
“I am excited to be joining a rapidly growing digital business and look forward to helping advance the business further with the help of our great local team,” Johnson said in a news release. “The opportunity to grow both commercial and dealer business at Otolane is significant. My principal focus will be to assist our clients achieve their vehicle remarketing goals.”
Johnson joins former Manheim Canada veterans Steve Haardeng, who now is the Otolane’s director of sales operations, and Britney Patterson, who currently serves as the company’s business development and dealer support manager.
Haardeng, who has over 20 years of experience in automotive remarketing, most recently served as senior manager of sales operations at Manheim Canada.
Patterson, who completed 10 years of service at Manheim Toronto in roles of increasing responsibility, was most recently responsible for inside sales and account management.
