Canadian Black Book adds industry veterans Khan, Bonneau as sales directors
Canadian Black Book announced two significant additions to its sales staff.
The automotive data and analytics provider has hired industry veterans Waqas Khan and Geneviève Bonneau, both of whom will carry the title of director of sales, data licensing.
“Their extensive backgrounds and exceptional track records in driving sales will be a significant asset to our organization,” CBB president Yolanda Biswah said in a news release. “They bring a wealth of experience and strong relationships within the automotive industry that will help continue to expand our reach.”
In a news release, the company said Khan is a “strategic and operational finance leader” with more than 15 years of experience in the Canadian auto industry, working for Mitsubishi, Subaru and Volvo. He’s a licensed CPA with an MBA specializing in accounting and corporate finance, whose most recent experience is managing residual values through strategic planning with OEMs, improving RV forecasting and enhancing retailer financials. He has also led digital transformation initiatives.
Khan said he can “contribute to Black Book’s mission by providing insightful tools that enable partners to make informed business decisions for sustainable growth,” and added, “Joining this innovative company represents a significant opportunity to apply my strategic expertise in enhancing value and optimizing financial outcomes.”
In its release, CBB described Bonneau as a “dynamic and driven leader” whose 20-year career in sales, project management and team leadership includes her most recent roles as dealer business manager and remarketing and CPO manager for Mazda Canada. She previously has worked for ADESA, Trader Corporation and Whirlpool Canada, among other companies.
CBB said Bonneau has a history of building strong alliances and driving revenue growth.
“My experience with multinational brands has equipped me to make a meaningful contribution to Canadian Black Book’s mission by building strong client partnerships and expanding its market presence,” she said. “I am eager to leverage my expertise to empower Canadian Black Book’s partners with valuable insights and innovative business solutions, fostering sustainable growth and driving transformational change.”
