You could very well look at Dealertrack’s  Tradetracker June vehicle appraisal report and think you were looking at any such report from the last several months.

Continuing a year-to-date trend, the Ford F-150 and the Toyota Corolla were the No. 1 and No. 2 most appraised vehicles in Canada last month. Claiming the No. 3 spot was the Honda Civic sedan, which moved up from the No. 5 spot. Rounding out the top 5 were the Ford Escape (continuing a three-month trend in this spot) and the Mazda 3 (which swapped places with the Civic sedan).

When it came to vehicles being looked at by trade-in owners, the F-150, the Toyota RAV4, the F-150 and the RAV4 again have been the most-appraised vehicles, respectively, year to date in the following categories: top domestic vehicle looked at by domestic owners, top import vehicle looked at by import owners, top domestic vehicle looked at by import owners, and top import vehicle looked at by domestic owners.  

The brand of the month for June was Toyota. The top three off-make brands looked at by Toyota dealers for the past three months have been the Civic sedan, the Mazda 3 and the Honda CR-V. Year to date, those three were the Mazda 3, Civic sedan and Toyota Corolla.

The RAV4 and the Corolla have been the top vehicles looked at by trade-in customers at Toyota dealerships in the past three months. Claiming the No. 3 spot last month was the Toyota Yaris; the Camry and Highlander held this spot previously.

Sample size (number of appraisals surveyed) last month was 19,097 for Toyota dealers and 18,419 for trade-in customers at Toyota dealerships.
