Mercedes-Benz Newmarket joins Zanchin group; ex-Mercedes Canada CEO to run store
Zanchin Automotive Group has added Mercedes-Benz Newmarket, which will be led by former Mercedes-Benz Canada president Brian Fulton.
Fulton, who held that Mercedes-Benz Canada CEO role from 2016 until July, will be Mercedes-Benz Newmarket’s managing partner.
“Bringing all of the many aspects of automobile retailing together — a high-integrity sales approach, intelligent marketing, superb service and outstanding customer care — is a job description that mirrors my career at Mercedes-Benz,” Fulton said in the news release.
“Everything I’ve done has been leading to this,” he said. “I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.”
Zanchin Automotive Group now has 34 stores throughout Ontario, including two others in Newmarket (Newmarket Nissan and Newmarket Infiniti).
“Newmarket is a vibrant, growing market,” Zanchin chief executive Joe Zanchin said in a release.
“Mercedes-Benz Newmarket has not only become an integral part of the community; it has built a loyal customer base far beyond it. For a company with strong community values, they are a perfect fit for us.”
