MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -

In his new position as senior manager, corporate communications and public relations for Cox Automotive Canada, Mark James will lead all communications for the company and its brands across the country.

James, who most recently served as manager of corporate communications at Kia Canada, joined Cox Automotive Canada, effective Monday.

He will report to Cox Automotive Canada president Maria Soklis.

Cox Automotive Canada describes James as “a seasoned communications leader with extensive experience in the automotive industry.”

“Mark brings a passion for strategic public relations and a proven track record of creating and implementing high caliber national communications plans and campaigns that drive awareness, familiarity and consideration,” Cox Automotive Canada said in a news release. 

“With Cox Automotive Canada continuing to develop and deliver industry-leading solutions, we’re thrilled to have Mark joining the team to help ensure that Canadians understand the benefits of what our services can provide,” Soklis said.
