Protective Asset Protection rolls out specialty tire and wheel coverage products for RV, marine & powersports units
With the Fourth of July straight ahead, consumers likely will be using their “toys” designed for fun.
To help ensure those times are enjoyable, Protective Asset Protection recently launched its new specialty tire and wheel coverage products for RV, marine and powersports units.
The provider of F&I programs and services said product coverage is for new and used RVs, marine and powersport units.
For powersports, the new offering covers tire repair or replacement and wheel repair or replacement, and it also includes limited roadside coverage.
For RVs, it covers tire repair or replacement and wheel repair or replacement, and a towing and flat tire allowance.
For watercraft, it covers tire repair or replacement and wheel repair or replacement for marine trailers, and includes the towing and flat tire allowance.
The company pointed out that replacements are limited to the same tire/wheel as the vehicle’s original equipment manufacturer’s tire/wheel or a comparable tire/wheel of like kind and quality if the original equipment manufacturer’s tire/wheel is not available or out of production.
Officials added there are no model year restrictions, and commercial use and off-road powersport units are ineligible for coverage.
The company also mentioned the program is available for core, retro and reinsurance participation programs.

Protective’s RV, powersports and watercraft tire & wheel protection provides repair and replacement coverage for tires and wheels damaged by a covered road hazards for up to seven years.
For RVs and watercraft, coverage is extended to trailers and tow vehicles if damaged while towing the covered unit.
