DALLAS -

Tricolor, the used-vehicle retailer focused on Hispanic customers, recently added to leaders to its board of directors to help it to capitalize on consumer demand for its products and the appeal of its unique mission-driven, risk scoring platform powered by artificial intelligence.

Kathryn Petralia, the co-founder and president of Kabbage, and Antonio Garza, who previously served as U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, now are part of the board.

Tricolor highlighted that Petralia is a serial entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience building successful technology companies in financial services, while Garza draws on decades of high profile political, legal, and business experience.

“I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to Kathryn and Tony as the newest members of our Board of Directors,” Tricolor founder and chief executive officer Daniel Chu said in a news release.

“As both pioneers and professionals, each brings enormous relevant and aligned experiences to our purpose-driven strategy to empower underserved consumers striving to achieve the American dream,” Chu continued. “Their contributions will be critical to guiding our next phase of aggressive national expansion.”

The additions to its board arrived after Tricolor also named executives to be chief risk officer, chief corporate development and legal officer, chief supply chain officer, chief compliance officer and chief product and strategy officer.
