Ace Motor Acceptance Broadens GAP Program Relationship with CARco
MATTHEWS, N.C. — Ace Motor Acceptance Corp. recently expanded its relationship with Comprehensive Auto Resources Co. to strengthen its BHPH In A Box program.
Officials highlighted that CARco joins AUL (service contracts), AutoMaster (dealer management system software) and PassTime (GPS tracking) to boost AMAC's offering for buy-here, pay-here dealers.
AMAC explained it has been working closely with CARco to provide dealers with a guaranteed asset protection (GAP) program. In January, the two companies launched a GAP program designed specifically for the AMAC BHPH In A Box program.
"CARco is excited about this new relationship with AMAC," stated CARco president Charlie Caronia, whose company has been offering GAP coverage since 2009.
"AMAC is a well-respected company that has been in the subprime lending industry for a very long time and has helped CARco continue to grow in the subprime lending market," Caronia continued. "We are confident that the addition of CARco's GAP program will add more value to AMAC's borrowers by protecting them in the event of a total loss."
AMAC director of business development Wayne Garland added, "These expanded GAP benefits provided by CARco further strengthen our already strong BHPH In A Box program and could not have come at a more advantageous time for our dealers, as the need for good BHPH dealers is greater than ever due to the recent economic upheaval.
"The BHPH In A Box program allows both seasoned BHPH professionals, as well as those dealers wanting to enter the BHPH business to have access to capital for funding contracts along with a floor plan for their inventory," Garland went on to say. "AMAC's program also offers most of the other tools necessary to run a successful BHPH operation."
The AMAC BHPH In A Box program is available to dealers in Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. AMAC hopes to expand into several neighboring states throughout this year.
