LOS ANGELES — Automotive Finance Consumer Division and Nowcom Corp. announced today that they will soon begin providing dealers access to new lender opportunities via XpressCredit.

This lending platform will be made available through their fully integrated dealer management system called Dealer Desktop.

"This new partnership brings additional lenders to our platform, which during these tough economic times puts us in the position to become the leader in the independent dealer market," said Rufus Hankey, president of Nowcom.

"With this, we anticipate adding both partners and marquee lenders to our DMS platform. Nowcom's business is currently successful because our dealer base values our technology and products, and this new partnership will only add to that," he added.

Meanwhile, Margot Hanulak, president of AFCD, said, "We are excited about the expansion of product offering to our dealers through this new relationship with XpressCredit and the integration with Dealer Desktop."

XpressCredit is a leading provider of a Web-based, indirect lending platform. Its patent-pending solution links lenders with auto, motorcycle, RV and marine dealers nationwide. A pre-screen of the applicant and collateral provides the ability for lenders to evaluate applications quickly and efficiently.

"We are excited about this new partnership with AFCD and Nowcom," said Paul Gignilliat, XpressCredit founder and chief executive officer. "AFCD and Nowcom dealers who use Dealer Desktop will have enhanced lending opportunities and additional compliance support that will positively impact their performance."

Along with the new lending platform, Dealer Desktop also provides independent dealers with access to credit reports, book values, inventory management and all the essentials to run a commercial car dealership.

Nowcom expects the integration to be completed and fully functional by the beginning of the second quarter 2009.
