West Coast: ADESA’s San Diego Auto Auction in San Diego, Calif.
Company executives pointed out that these winning auctions will compete with other quarterly recipients in their respective regions for AmeriCredit’s 2006 regional Auction of Excellence awards, with these awards to be presented at the end of the year. Additionally, one of the 2006 regional winners will be named AmeriCredit’s Auction of the Year.
AmeriCredit’s Auction of Excellence program is based on customer service, as well as highest recovery rate, executives said. Company representatives assess each auction’s performance in a variety of categories, including organization of sale, quality of vehicle reconditioning, dealer turnout and average recovery rate for AmeriCredit vehicles. Furthermore, AmeriCredit’s representatives evaluate pre-sale services, such as vehicle transportation and condition reports.
