AppOne Releases Aftermarket Feature, More
BATON ROUGE, La. — AppOne recently announced the release of Menu One, a new feature that displays enhanced financing options or aftermarket products through the company's Web-based portal. The company also said it has teamed with First Advantage Credco to provide reports from all three credit bureaus.
Additionally, AppOne recently formed an alliance with Genesys Systems that integrates AppOne's loan portal into Genesys' DMS product. Starting with the Menu One announcement, AppOne said that this new feature provides a user-friendly list of financing alternatives which allows dealers to customize these options for presentations to buyers.
Through the feature, dealers can set up various option packages that can include products, such as extended service contracts, prepaid maintenance programs and credit life insurance. Product information is displayed in a format that makes it easy for consumers to understand, according to executives. Once a dealer breaks down the options, a list of monthly and total payments is created for buyers.
Another benefit of this program is that it ensures that all transactions are in compliance with state and federal regulations, AppOne highlighted. The feature is free for dealers in AppOne's network.
"Menu One enables dealers to offer aftermarket products at the critical point in the sales process when the auto transaction is being completed," explained Lee Domingue, chief executive officer of AppOne.
"By presenting the financing options in a smooth, professional manner, dealers now have the help they need to potentially increase aftermarket businesses and boost F&I profits," he continued.
Meanwhile, AppOne also recently discussed its new partnership with First Advantage Credco, which allows dealers to track down consumer credit reports from Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
"AppOne has greatly expanded its role in the independent auto marketplace; our services enhance their system by combining various aspects of the loan application process under one umbrella transaction," said Eric Rumsy, president of First Advantage Credco.
"This alliance with First Advantage Credco is part of our effort to bring a wider variety of integrated products and services to independent auto dealers throughout the country," added Domingue. "It offers one platform for dealers to perform all functions necessary for efficient and streamlined F&I operations."
Finally, AppOne said it has formed a partnership with Genesys, under which AppOne's loan portal is integrated into Genesys' Sales Lifter Pro DMS product. According to executives, this allows dealers to start the financing process in the DMS system, in addition to using AppOne's laser forms and compliance tools.
"This alliance furthers our goal of providing technology that enables dealers to focus their time on selling more cars," Domingue said. "The seamless integration of our loan portal with the DMS system from Genesys makes the financing process much easier and potentially more profitable for our network of auto dealers."
Ted Cooper, founder of Genesys, also said, "Our partnership with AppOne allows Genesys representatives to market the AppOne system concurrently with Sales Lifter Pro to provide our dealers with a simplified, yet comprehensive solution for boosting their own ability to compete.
"Our merged services highlight our commitment to improving the way independent dealers sell cars through increased efficiency and profitability," he concluded.
