AutoNation & ASEDA Fleet Join Forces on Purchasing Program for Native Americans
DALLAS — ASEDA Fleet has partnered with AutoNation to offer affordably priced new and used vehicles for members of Native American and Alaska Native Tribes.
The program, which can be accessed online, started last week in California, Alaska and Florida.
Through this joint effort, officials explained accredited tribal members will be able to search online for new or used vehicles at prices that best fit their budget needs from a selection of more than 50,000 vehicles.
Additionally, AutoNation is prepared to provide financing through a large network of financial organizations for Native Americans in the lower 48 states. ASEDA Fleet has arranged financing for Alaska Natives' through Credit Union 1.
ASEDA Fleet is a Native American owned corporation founded by the Absentee Shawnee Economic Development Authority (ASEDA) in Oklahoma.
Although ASEDA Fleet primarily provides lease or purchase fleet services for corporations and associations, officials emphasized the board has always wanted to improve vehicle-purchasing opportunities for individual Native Americans and Alaska Natives.
The companies contend that using the program is easy. Tribal members can go to www.asedafleet.com to start.
Alaska Natives click on the state icon to begin while Native Americans in the lower 48 click on the stallion icon to begin.
The online system can allow browsers to define the type of vehicle they prefer (new or used) the model (truck, car, SUV) and the make.
Once a choice is made, shoppers can view photos and a Carfax Vehicle History Report.

"Once a purchase has been made, the consultant also coordinates the best time and place for delivery of the vehicle," they added.
