GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Just a couple of months after Black Book brought in Jeff Bunch to be its director of automotive licensing, the firm promoted the industry veteran to a new position.

Black Book announced Bunch has been elevated to vice president of lender solutions. In this role, Bunch will be responsible for leading Black Book’s efforts to increase revenue growth from the licensing of Black Book data to banks, credit unions and finance companies that are involved with the automotive and related industries.

Black Book president Tom Cross stated, “I am thrilled to have Jeff move into the role of heading up our lender solutions division. He has had a very successful and varied career, and his reputation as someone who understands the challenges facing the industry today, and how to best handle those challenges, was clearly evident as our executive team began to work with him on a daily basis.”

Bunch spent his first 12 years in the automotive industry in a variety of sales roles at Chevrolet, Chrysler and General Motors dealerships. He went to work for Manheim in 1997, starting at Manheim Financial Services where he rose to the position of vice president of sales and operations, and eventually vice president of dealer services.

“I am excited about assuming greater responsibility at Black Book,” Bunch declared. “Through my entire automotive career I have had the greatest level of respect for this organization.

“In my brief time here before this opportunity presented itself, I got to know Black Book from the inside and am very enthusiastic about the combination of industry knowledge and solutions that we can offer to the automotive finance community,” Bunch concluded.
