BENTONVILLE, Ark., and EDINA, Minn. — With tax season in
full swing, buy-here, pay-here dealership chains America's Car-Mart and CarHop added
more locations.

In fact, Car-Mart opened two lots — one in Florence, Ala.,
and the other in Kirksville, Mo. The chain now has a total of 123 dealerships
in its pipeline. The moves boosted Car-Mart's footprint in Alabama to 12 stores
and in Missouri to 17 lots.

The Florence dealership will be managed by Joshua Lockard,
and the Kirksville dealership will be managed by Shaun Campbell, according to
company officials.

Car-Mart noted that it plans to open at least one additional
dealership this month to finish the full fiscal year with at least 10 new
dealership openings.

Meanwhile, CarHop broadened its presence in Utah, opening a
dealership in Ogden. Last month, CarHop first ventured into the state by rolling
out a lot in Murray.

"Since the beginning our mission has always been to help
people drive, and the Ogden store is all a part of accomplishing that mission,"
CarHop district manager Bea Swanson said. "And we're excited about the
opportunity to better establish ourselves in the state of Utah."

CarHop now has 59 stores in 16 states.
