SARASOTA, Fla. — CarBiz has continued to grow over the past month, as the company recently added six stores in Illinois, officials indicated.
The facilities are located in East Peoria, Moline, Loves Park, Rockfor, Pekin and DeKalb, the company stated.
In the last month, CarBiz noted it has also opened shop in Ohio and Kentucky.
The company added that an earlier acquisition included 26 stores throughout Kentucky, Ohio, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska and Oklahoma. This made CarBiz the fourth largest "Buy Here, Pay Here" business in the country, officials pointed out.
"We are excited the opportunity as our plan is starting to take shape," stated Carl Ritter, chief executive officer.
The company began operations in Ohio on Nov. 9 and in Kentucky on Nov. 15, officials explained.
