CHICAGO — Buy-here, pay-here dealership chain CarHop revealed Wednesday that Chicago-area car shoppers will have another dealership to choose from.

The company opened its fourth Chicago-area store yesterday, located at 6039 North Western Avenue; an area which the company asserts sees a high level of commuting activity.

The company hopes the store will give locals the opportunity to obtain their own car, rather than relying on the city’s public transportation.

“Having a location conveniently located in the north side of Chicago will give people easier access to our store,” district manager Peter Desouza said.

“I’m really excited, and I’m confident that this store will be a great addition to the CarHop chain,” he added.

The new store’s manager Melissa Gonzales also offered her take on the recent opening: “I am very excited about this new location. It will help so many customers in need of financing. No one will work harder to get customers driving than we will.”

The CarHop chain focuses on helping car buyers with poor or no credit get approval for auto financing when they have been turned down for loans by banks or traditional car dealers.
