SAN FRANCISCO — In order to streamline its technology, Chrysler Financial has teamed up with Salesforce.com to offer leasing and financing solutions.

Through the partnership, Salesforce will provide customized business applications, along with consumer Web applications in order to drive efficiency and customer service.

Basically, Salesforce is intended to give Chrysler Financial dealer relations' managers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico access to information such as leasing and financing options, so they can efficiently meet the needs of their customers, officials pointed out.

"We chose Salesforce for financial services to replace our traditional software solution for the ease of use and customization capabilities inherent in the on-demand model," explained Kurt Schillinger, director of sales and operations for Chrysler Financial.

"Users throughout our organization in both sales and operations appreciate how easy Salesforce is to use and how it instantly increased our productivity," he continued.

The consolidated source of data can also provide supervisors and regional managers with real-time insight into performance by individual, region and market, which is designed to drive sales goals.

"Salesforce for financial services has been a tremendous asset to our business, and we're continuing to find ways to use the solution to increase our success," Schillinger noed.

"Our Salesforce implementation led us to win our internal President's Council Award, which is awarded to the application that has had the greatest impact to our business for the year," he concluded.
