Chrysler Strikes Deal with U.S. Bank to Offer More Leasing Options, Launches New Round of Incentives
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — On Wednesday, Chrysler Group announced a new deal with U.S. Bank to offer customers more lease options for its lineup of select 2010 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep models.
Through this new agreement, customers now have two leasing options, Ally Financial and U.S. Bank. Both deals offer customers the ability to lease various models, including the Chrysler 300, Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Charger, Dodge Grand Caravan, Dodge Journey, Dodge Nitro, Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Liberty.
According to Chrysler management, Ally Financial will continue as the preferred lender for the automaker. Ally has financed about 50 percent of Chrysler's retail sales year-to-date.
In related news, on Wednesday Chrysler also announced the launch of a new round of U.S. incentives through Sept. 30.
For the Ram Truck brand, officials said the brand is continuing its 60-day "Ram Handshake," pledge for 2010 trucks. Basically, consumers can purchase a Ram truck, drive it for two months without payments and return it if not satisfied.
Or, consumers purchasing a 2010 Ram truck can select attractive financing rates as low as zero-percent APR for up to 60 months through Ally Financial on some models.
The offers include:
—Consumers purchasing a 2010 Ram 1500 Crew Cab financed through Ally are eligible for $3,500 consumer cash.
—Consumers buying a 2010 Ram Heavy Duty finance through Ally are eligible for $2,000 in consumer cash.
—Consumers purchasing a 2011 Ram Heavy Duty financed through Ally are eligible for $1,000 in consumer cash.
As for the Jeep brand, consumers who buy 2010 model-year units can select zero-percent financing for 60 months or consumer cash up to $4,500.
Special deals include:
—Consumers who buy a 2010 Jeep Liberty, Jeep Grand Cherokee or Jeep Commander and finance through Ally are eligible for up to $1,000 in Ally Financial Bonus Cash.
—Consumers who purchase the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee through Ally are eligible for financing rates as low as 1.9 percent for 36 months.
Meanwhile, the Chrysler brand also launched some special incentives. Consumers purchasing 2010 model-year Chrysler vehicles can choose zero-percent financing for up to 60 months through Ally or consumer cash of up to $3,000.
The incentives offer:
—Consumers purchasing a 2010 model-year Chrysler are also eligible for 1.9-percent financing for up to 72 months through Ally.
—Consumers who lease a 2010 model-year Chrysler 300, Chrysler 300 C or Chrysler Town & Country minivan through Ally are eligible for lease bonus cash of up to $2,000.
Finally, not to be forgotten, the Dodge brand is on board with some special incentives as well. Consumers who buy most 2010 model-year Dodge vehicles can select zero percent financing for up to 60 months, or consumer cash of up to $3,000.
The special deals include:
—Consumers who purchase a 2010 Dodge Charger can choose from zero-percent financing for up to 72 months or consumer cash of $3,000.
—Consumers who lease a 2010 Dodge Charger, Dodge Journey or Dodge Grand Caravan through Ally are eligible for lease bonus cash of up to $2,000.
