PORTLAND, Ore. — Compli announced recently that Chris Grebisz will become the company's new chief operating officer on April 1, 2009.

Ken Thrasher, chairman and chief executive officer of Compli, said that Grebisz's executive experience will help the company form new strategic partnerships and grow its sales.

"We are extremely fortunate to add Chris Grebisz to the Compli team," Thrasher said. "With his extensive management background in developing and delivering business solutions to a broad array of industries, he will help us grow the company as we add new markets to our business plan while continuing to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our current customers."

Grebisz has more than 15 years of executive experience in software development, professional services, global operations management, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Compli, Grebisz was the chief operating officer for Welocalize, a global services firm that specializes in software design and development, global product enablement and outsourcing of technical services. Under his leadership, the company grew sales at an average rate of 80 percent annually, while significantly growing profitability.

"Chris' experience in taking emerging companies to the next level of growth is very compelling," said Lon Leneve, president and chief financial officer of Compli. "In terms of customer and revenue base, along with our product and service capabilities, we have set the foundation to accelerate our growth and have been very deliberate in our decision to add someone to our executive team that has a proven ability to leverage these strengths."
