CENTENNIAL, Colo. -

CU Direct Connect, a leader in the Colorado automotive lending market that provides indirect auto lending services to credit unions and dealers, added another member to its network this week. Bringing Northern Colorado Credit Union of Greeley, Colo., into the network raised CUDC’s footprint to more than 35 credit unions.

Northern Colorado Credit Union currently covers Weld County and serves more than 3,600 members. On Nov. 1, College Credit Union officially became Northern Colorado Credit Union. Management explained this name change better reflects the area of service the credit union can provide.

And now the credit union has another vehicle financing offering for its members.

“CU Direct Connect is the perfect partner to help us expand our own auto loan portfolio through the indirect channel,” Northern Colorado Credit Union chief executive officer Walter Marx said. “CUDC is the ideal partner for our indirect lending program as no one has a better network of dealerships in Colorado.”

CUDC continues to expand its credit union partner base in Colorado to better support the demand of dealers seeking a fully-managed indirect lending solution.

“We are thrilled to bring Northern Colorado Credit Union onto the CUDC program as they are a great fit for the type of service CUDC provides our partners,” CUDC president and CEO Blair Korschun said. “We are excited that Northern Colorado Credit Union will enhance our support and coverage in Northern Colorado.”
