ALPHARETTA, Ga. — DataScan Field Services recently rolled
out a new online scheduling tool aimed at giving captive and financial
institutions a convenient way for their lessees to schedule end-of-lease
vehicle inspections.

With this new tool, DataScan explained that customers of
participating financial institutions can quickly and easily make their
inspection appointments via the Web.

The new service is being introduced to the off-lease market
at no additional charge for existing DataScan clients who rely on the company
to provide transparency to their customers during the off-lease inspection
process.

Captive lending and other financial institutions
participating in the scheduling program can now choose to make the new online
feature available for lease customers approaching the end of term by providing
the appropriate links on their website or through consumer communications.

The lessees can then select the date, time and location that
are most convenient.

Additionally, they can opt to receive 24-hour or 48-hour
electronic reminder messages either by text, email or both.

By introducing the interactive service, DataScan vice
president Matt Powell believes the company is continuing to help captive
lending and other financial institutions pioneer services to meet the demands
of today's leasing market.

"We are continuously looking for innovative ways to
effectively and efficiently serve our clients," Powell emphasized.

"This online scheduling tool was designed to make the
end-of-lease experience as convenient as possible for lessees, while providing
them with valuable information as early as possible in the process," he went on
to say.

Existing DataScan Field Services clients can enable the new
tool for their lessees by contacting their DataScan representative.
