LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — DealerTrack announced its second annual DealerTrack Innovation Conference for general managers, auto financing executives and other auto professionals will be held Sept. 17 to 18 at the Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

According to officials, the conference is designed to help attendees better learn how to use technology to increase revenues and profitability. The event offers both educational sessions and networking opportunities.

Dealerships' general managers will be able to listen to real-world case studies and share best practices with each other. Additionally, some sessions will be geared specifically for financing sources and other industry partners, executives said.

More specifically, the sessions are slated to address various topics such as open dealer management systems, lead generation, maximizing aftermarket sales, inventory best practices, digital contracting, utilizing online auctions and subprime opportunities.

"The success of last year's conference was a testament to the demand in our industry for this type of forum," explained Mark O'Neil, chairman and chief executive officer of DealerTrack.

"The DealerTrack Innovation Conference brings together dealers and lenders from around the country in a non-competitive format to exchange ideas that are beneficial to the entire industry," he continued.

On the first day of the conference, the company said attendees can either participate in a golf tournament at Paiute Golf Resort, or a Texas Hold'em Poker tournament at the Paris Hotel and Casino.

That night, attendees have the opportunity to enjoy a welcome reception featuring Jay Leno at Pure Nightclub at Caesar's Palace.

During the second day, the conference will offer keynote presentations from Matthew May, industry adviser and author of "The Elegant Solution: Toyota's Formula for Mastering Innovation," and Josh "Chop" Towbin, host of the "Kind of Cars" TV show and owner of Towbin Dodge in Las Vegas.

Discounted admission to the conference is available for attendees registered by July 31. Executives noted that attendees who register for both the Innovation Conference and the F&I Conference by that deadline will receive discounted admission to both events.
