DriveItNow Highlights New Shop-By-Payment Technology
CINCINNATI — DriveItNow, a provider of online monthly
payment marketing technology, described its new patent-pending Shop-By-Payment
service as one aimed at "totally changing" the way consumers shop for vehicles
on the Internet.
How? DriveItNow says its new Shop-By-Payment service flips
the buying process by taking the shopper's credit, their desired monthly payment
and dealer's finance programs and then displays vehicle inventory that match
all the criteria.
DriveItNow president Tarry Shebesta explained that consumers
currently shop for a vehicle they want to buy, negotiate a price and then
figure out how to pay for it. Shebesta contends that unfortunately many
potential buyers find out that what they want to buy and what they can afford
to buy don't always match.
"For example, a buyer may want a Corvette but in reality
they should be looking at a Camaro based on their monthly budget and credit
worthiness," Shebesta said.
"Shopping for cars based on the consumer's credit and
monthly budget creates a better consumer experience by setting a realistic
expectation of what they can buy." Shebesta continued. "Shop-By-Payment makes
it fast and easy for a consumer to see all vehicles in a dealer's inventory
they qualify to buy."
Shop-By-Payment starts by asking the shopper for basic
non-personal information (no Social Security Number or date of birth is
required) and their desired monthly payment range.
Then, a list of new and used vehicles from dealer inventory
is instantly presented that match the consumer's credit and desired payment
Shop-By-Payment is initially available to dealers who
currently subscribe to DriveItNow's Monthly Payment Marketing service.
The service is also available to third-party vehicle listing
websites and portals.
A new direct-to-consumer website featuring the service is
scheduled to launch this quarter.
Interested dealers can get more information from the DriveItNow
website or by calling (800) 223-4882, ext 20.
