F&I Sentinel made a pair of personnel moves this week, hiring a new vice president of operations and shifting its executive holding that position in an interim capacity into another position.

Joining the tech-enabled service provider for compliant F&I product financing as vice president of operations is Nicole Aiello, who arrives at F&I Sentinel with more than 22 years of experience in enhancing business plans and improving day-to-day operations.

In her new role, F&I Sentinel said Aiello will be responsible for designing and executing operational plans, enforcing adherence to policies and procedures, developing and leading teams, and continuously improving client services. Working closely with other members of F&I Sentinel’s executive leadership team, she will contribute to strategic decisions and implement process improvements to enhance procedures for higher efficiency, organizational culture, and growth.

Aiello takes the role from Matt Nowels, who has acted as interim vice president of operations since the company’s launch.

F&I Sentinel said Nowels will move to a new role as vice president of risk management.

“Matt’s contributions as our interim operations leader were instrumental in helping us grow and scale over the last two years, and we look forward to his leadership in his new role,” F&I Sentinel co-founder and chief executive officer Stephen McDaniel said.

“Nicole is a results-driven leader with a proven track record of driving an organization’s operational direction and achieving cost efficiencies,” McDaniel continued. “Her expertise in team development and process improvement, coupled with her deep industry experience, will be instrumental in helping us scale and achieve our growth objectives.”

Prior to joining F&I Sentinel, Aiello served as senior director of CX operations for Protective Asset Protection, where she successfully completed the acquisition integration of three businesses across operational areas and three administration system consolidations.

Aiello also served as chief operations officer for Revolos, where she focused heavily on improving customer experience, self-service, and team development; and as senior vice president of operations for the same company, where she supported all marketing channels across North America.

“I’m thrilled to join such an innovative and dynamic company that’s dedicated to delivering best-in-class F&I compliance solutions to its clients,” Aiello said. “I look forward to working with the team and contributing to the company’s growth and success.”
