HOUSTON — First Investors Financial Services Group recently named an industry veteran to be its senior vice president of marketing and originations as well as co-chief operating officer.

Taking on the role is David Satterfield, who First Investors is asking to be responsible for direct and indirect marketing, credit underwriting, funding and direct call center operations.

Prior to joining First Investors, Satterfield held senior leadership positions at Triad Financial, CitiFinancial Auto, Auto One Acceptance and Bank of America. First Investors noted that Satterfield brings more than 20 years experience in automotive lending and marketing to the company, where he will serve as a member of its executive management team.

"We are excited to have David as part of the First Investors executive management team," stated Tommy Moore Jr., president and chief executive officer at First Investors.

The company specializes in origination and retention of automotive finance receivables originated from franchised dealers and directly through consumers from the sale or refinance of new and late-model used vehicles. The company is licensed or exempt from license in 37 states.

"His background in both marketing and credit provides First Investors with additional depth and expertise as we look to grow both our indirect and direct business while continuing to adhere to the sound credit fundamentals that have always been a hallmark of First Investors," Moore went on to say about Satterfield.
